Children today are under tremendous stress trying to understand and deal with our fast-paced, complex, and often confusing world. We want our kids to succeed, to do well in school, and to be happy. Yet many times children must also face challenging personal, peer, and family issues, leading toward problems of low self-esteem, poor academic performance, somatic illness, sleep disturbance, anger, acting-out behavior, and more. How can we help our kids manage 21st Century trials and achieve their full capability? The answer is to provide children and teens a positive way to deal with the world and themselves.

Dr. Charlotte Reznick specializes in helping children and adolescents develop the emotional skills necessary for a happy and successful life. Her focus is on teaching youth how to help themselves by learning to calm their minds, connect with their feelings, develop self-awareness and self-compassion, expand empathy and concern for others, practice gratitude, cultivate their intuition, and think through and creatively solve problems.

Her philosophy is one of self-empowerment. Rather than give children answers, Dr. Reznick teaches them the tools to find the answers themselves. Her pioneering Imagery For Kids™ program offers a unique mindful, positive, coping skill set. Through nine tools based in mindfulness, meditation, guided and interactive imagery – enhanced by music, drawing, and journal writing – Dr. Reznick teaches children and teens how to skillfully and peacefully navigate through the changing circumstances of life. Kids discover a significant path for self-realization that empowers them to succeed for the rest of their lives.

"Superpower"

A heart-warming and touching story of a young boy I worked with who discovers how the power of his imagination helps manage his anxiety. He learns to transform his fears and find peace and calm while facing life's challenges. He and his family wanted to share this inspiring story to help others with similar issues. [7 min]
